These terms are an agreement between you and DEOTECH Bilişim ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. ("we", "us"), Cevizli Mah. Mustafa Kemal Cad. Hukukçular Tow. Sit. No:66a/111, 34865 Kartal/İstanbul, Türkiye. They govern your use of the nomi mobile app. By using nomi you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
nomi suggests restaurants based on the mood, budget and distance you choose, and lets a group decide on one together by swiping and voting. Restaurant information — names, photos, ratings, opening hours, contact details — comes from Google Places and other public sources.
While using nomi, you agree not to:
When you create or join a group room, your display name and your votes are visible to the other people in that room. Only share a room code with people you want in the room. The organiser can start voting and the group's result is shown to everyone who took part.
Points and badges are a game mechanic. They have no monetary value, are not property, cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for anything, and we may adjust or reset them — for example to correct abuse or a bug. They disappear when your account is deleted.
You keep ownership of anything you submit, such as your display name and your validation votes. You grant us the licence we need to run the service — to store that content, show it to the people in your group rooms, and use aggregated, non-identifying signals to improve recommendations. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to submit.
nomi is provided as it is, without any warranty. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and the service may be unavailable during maintenance or because of a problem at one of our providers. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects you, tell you in the app.
You can stop using nomi at any time, and you can erase your account yourself from Settings → Delete account in the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe puts other users or the service at risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or data, or for anything arising out of your visit to, or dealings with, a restaurant discovered through the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights given to you by the mandatory consumer protection law of the country you live in, and nothing here takes those away.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and the courts of İstanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings there.
