No restaurants are showing up

nomi needs your location to find places near you. Check that location access is enabled in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → nomi. If it is on and you still see nothing, try widening the distance filter to “Explore” — some areas have few matches at walking distance.

How do group rooms work?

1. Create a room and pick the moods, budget and distance for the group.
2. Share the room code with the people joining you.
3. Everyone swipes through the same list.
4. The group votes on the shortlist and nomi shows the winner.

Group rooms need an account — guests can browse, but not join a room.

The opening hours or phone number are wrong

Restaurant details come from Google Places and can be out of date. Always confirm with the restaurant before you travel. If you spot something wrong, email us the restaurant name and we will look into it.

I didn't get the verification email

Check your spam folder first. You can ask for a new one from the sign-in screen. If it still does not arrive, email us from the address you signed up with.

How do points and badges work?

You earn points by swiping, saving places and validating whether a restaurant matches a mood. Points unlock levels and badges. They are just for fun — they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for anything.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app and go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently erases your profile, points, badges, swipe and vote history, and removes you from any group rooms. It cannot be undone. If you would rather we did it for you, email hello@deotech.com.tr and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

How do I turn off notifications?

Each type can be switched off individually in Settings → Notifications inside the app, or all at once in iOS Settings → Notifications → nomi.
